Velvet Edge Jewelry was born out of Lisa’s love of exotic, dramatic jewelry. The line is made up of components sourced from all over the world—Swarovski crystals and pendants from Austria, intaglios from Germany, handpicked turquoise from China , freshwater pearls from Tahiti to name a few—anything that catches her eye. Countless hours of research have gone into the collection to find the pieces and parts that are unusual and stylish. Then, using her flair for design, Lisa customizes her collections to reflect whatever style taste is guiding her. Each piece is handmade with loving attention to detail and the great majority are one-of-a-kind pieces. She often gets requests both from other boutiques as well as fashion showrooms to sell and exhibit her collections, but she is happiest just designing for the lucky few who either visit her store Elan at the Waterfront in Scottsdale or via her online store.
